About Us
Uyii is a sewing studio based in Sin Ming, Singapore. A singular space serving multiple functions, our studio is where we work to actualise ideas with fabric. Initially launched as a bag label in 2011, we started out designing and hand making our own bags. We have since evolved, using our knowledge, experience, as well as collaborations with like-minded creatives, to inform the work we do.
Today, we work with other creatives to explore the possibilities of fabric, challenge the design/manufacturing binary, and integrate technology and textiles. Fabric is at the centre of everything we do. Join us for a class at Sew Fun – our sewing school – or approach us for our prototyping and consultancy, fabric printing, or small batch manufacturing services.
Sew Fun is the product of our dedication to share our knowledge and love for fabric and sewing. Nestled in our two sewing studios in Sin Ming and Commonwealth, Sew Fun offers a range of structured and well-paced classes, suitable for various skill levels.
Our instructors are set apart by their real industry experience and extensive knowledge on the craft of sewing, and will give you lots of care and guidance.
