Should I take the Beginner Sewing Class before taking the Basic Apparel Class?

While our Basic Apparel Class is suitable for those without prior sewing experience, many of our students have found it helpful to take our Beginner Sewing Class first. Our Beginner Sewing Class focuses on the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, with the objective being to allow students to have a firm grasp of how to use a sewing machine to make basic bags, pouches, and household items on their own. The Beginner Sewing Class builds students' confidence in using a sewing machine through a series of progressively challenging projects.

If you have no sewing experience and wish to join our Basic Apparel Class first, don't worry; we will cover the basics of using a sewing machine and sewing tools so that you have the necessary skills to complete the Basic Apparel Class projects.

Do you offer a class that teaches students how to sew dresses?

Yes! Our Basic Apparel Class Part II covers techniques for sewing princess seam and shirt dresses. Our Basic Apparel Class Part II is meant for students who have completed our Basic Apparel Class.
